Duration of course; Depends on the candidate’s experience and age.

Average duration is 20 to 36 weeks.

Portfolio of evidence building against performance objectives set out by City & Guilds.
All electricians wishing to gain a gold card from the JIB to confirm their status as a competent person must achieve a Level 3 NVQ.
Candidates will have no set attendance dates but will arrange appointments with the assessor for portfolio building sessions as required.

Candidates will receive a welcome pack by email containing all the required paperwork and templates required to get started.

Help and advice is available throughout the study process.

Candidates are able to come into the centre and use our classroom facilities to work on the theory part of their portfolios.

Course fees: £1250.00 + VAT

Candidate will be registered on the qualification once a completed enrolment form and payment have been received.

 

As part of the the NVQ, and not included in the course fee, the candidate must also complete the AM2 assessment and provide the certificate as evidence for the portfolio. The NVQ will not be complete without also passing the AM2.
