With petrol prices rocketing and concern for the environment, many people are turning to Electric Vehicles as a solution.  It follows that more and more charging points will be needed to meet demand.

This is a fantastic opportunity for existing electricians to generate extra income or even become a specialist installer and that could mean additional revenue for your business. You will need to provide evidence of NVQ (or Gold card) to enrol on this course.

The course will teach you the key skills needed to install, fault find and inspect and test electric vehicle charging points.

This course is intended for experienced electricians and installers looking to enhance their current skillset and learn to install domestic, and commercial vehicle charging points.

 

The course runs over 2 days and covers all aspects of EV charging units as per IET code of practice

Assessment consists of an open book multi choice on line exam and a written assignment

All candidates must provide their own copy of the Code of Practice
